Mrs Macquarie's Point

植物園內最大的觀賞區，橋+歌劇院雙景一覽無遺，是外國旅客最愛的點。
開門時間 10AM，但 7AM 隊伍已有數千人，8AM 就接近 10,000 人上限。需要 6–7AM 去排隊等到開門入場。
現場禁帶酒精，有賣食物和飲料。
The largest free area in the gardens — Bridge + Opera House both in view. Popular with tourists.
Gates open 10AM, but queues hit thousands by 7AM and near the 10,000 limit by 8AM. Plan to arrive 6–7AM and wait for opening.

前面有一排記者架著腳架拍攝，煙火開始的時候他們還會轉過來拍觀眾，直接把視線擋好擋滿 😂 而且真的超擠，9PM 煙火開始大家站起來後就會有一堆人擠進來。煙火結束後到 12AM 這段期間也不一定有位置可以坐下，要有心理準備長時間站著等。 There's a row of press photographers set up right in front — and when the 9PM fireworks start, some turn around to photograph the crowd, blocking your view completely 😂 It also gets extremely crowded: once people stand up for the 9PM show, others push in. After the first show ends, there may not be a seat available while you wait for midnight, so be prepared to stand for a long stretch.
Bennelong Lawn

Only 1,000 capacity and opens at 9AM — essentially the fastest-filling Botanic Garden spot. Arrive before 9AM.
Tarpeian Lawn

Foundation & Friends NYE Picnic

⚠️ 這個不是一般人可以直接買票的活動。票券只開放給 Foundation & Friends 會員（植物園之友協會）購買，非會員需要先「購買會員+門票組合」才能參加，2025 年票券已經完售。下午 5PM 入場，自備野餐墊在 Mare and Foal Lawn 劃定區域內，可以 BYO 食物和酒精飲料（部分玻璃容器不行），有港灣大橋和歌劇院景觀，有廁所設施。本質是植物園的募款活動，門票收入用於支持保育和教育計畫。除非你願意先加入會員，否則建議直接選 A-01～A-04 的免費區域。 ⚠️ This is NOT a regular ticketed event open to the public. Tickets are exclusive to Foundation & Friends members (Botanic Gardens membership program) — non-members must purchase a "membership + ticket" bundle. 2025 tickets are already sold out. Entry at 5PM, BYO picnic blanket for your spot on Mare and Foal Lawn, BYO food and alcohol allowed (some glass restrictions). Bridge and Opera House views, toilets on-site. This is essentially a fundraiser for the Gardens' conservation programs. Unless you're willing to join as a member, the free zones A-01 to A-04 are recommended instead.

Pirrama Park

Pyrmont 半島，搭輕軌幾站可到，人潮遠比 The Rocks 少。容量 8,000 人，可看到港灣大橋西側和港灣景色。可自帶酒精飲料（BYO）。
⚠️ 下午 5PM 起周邊道路封閉，不建議開車。L1 輕軌 8PM 後不停 Convention 站，需在 The Star 站下車步行約 10 分鐘。木棧道區域跨年夜全程關閉。
On the Pyrmont peninsula, a few light rail stops from the CBD. Opens 2PM, capacity 8,000. BYO alcohol allowed. Views of the western Harbour Bridge and harbour. Much less crowded than The Rocks — great if you want a decent view without the crowds.
Bradleys Head

從 Circular Quay 搭渡輪約 20 分鐘到 Taronga Zoo Wharf，再步行約 1km 到園區。
⚠️ 重要：前往 Bradleys Head 的最後一班渡輪為 4:52PM 離開 Circular Quay，必須在此之前抵達。NYE 當天不可開車前往，也沒有額外交通，只能步行進入。
分三個子區域，均需憑免費票 3–5PM 入場（5PM 後若未額滿可免票）：
・Amphitheatre — 緊鄰水邊，橋+歌劇院無遮擋正面景觀
・Mast Precinct — 木棧道和草坡，視野佳
・Athol Lawn — 寬闊草地，持 Amphitheatre 票可進入
全區禁酒禁玻璃，入場有包包檢查，活動至 12:15AM 結束，凌晨 12:54AM 及 1:54AM 有限班次渡輪返回。
20-min ferry from Circular Quay to Mosman, then a short walk.
Three sub-zones — all require free tickets for entry 3–5PM (after 5PM, free entry if not yet at capacity):
・Amphitheatre — 800 capacity, waterfront, unobstructed Bridge + Opera House views
・Mast Precinct — boardwalk and grassed area, good views
・Athol Lawn — wide grassy lawn, shaded but trees may restrict night views
Front-on Bridge views from across the water. Far less crowded than the CBD. All zones are fully alcohol and glass free — bag checks at entry.
Blues Point Reserve

Nearby Bradfield Park and Lavender Bay remain free.
Lavender Bay Parklands

Comprising Clark, Quibaree and Watts Parks — excellent western Harbour Bridge views.
Free entry, no ticketing required. Less crowded than Blues Point. BYO food allowed, but alcohol and glass containers prohibited. Bag checks on entry.
Bradfield Park & Mary Booth Reserve

熱門免費點建議下午 2–4pm 就到，人數達上限即關閉。 Popular free sites fill up fast. Arrive by 2–4pm to secure a spot before capacity is reached.
大多數場地禁止攜帶玻璃杯、帳篷、折疊椅。入場前會進行安全包包檢查。 Most venues prohibit glass, tents, and portable chairs. Security bag checks at all entry points.
大部分場地進場後不能離開再進，上廁所前要確認清楚。 Most sites have no pass-outs. Once you leave, you cannot re-enter — plan bathroom breaks carefully.
12月底是南半球盛夏，日落在晚上 8PM 後，長時間在戶外等待非常容易曬傷。 Late December is midsummer in Sydney — sunset is after 8pm. Sunscreen is essential during the long wait.
部分「免費」地點（如 Opera House 周邊）每年可能改為需要預先領票，務必提前查官網。 Some "free" spots (like Opera House area) may require pre-registration each year. Always check the official website in advance.
